Common Denture Problems

A Denture Rarely Breaks at a Good Time.

A hairline crack you keep an eye on. A tooth that finally pops off. A fit that's gone loose over the years. By the time it snaps, you're stuck without it. We look at all of it, and repair what we can the same day:

Cracked or Split Denture Base

A crack down the pink base only gets wider with each bite until it splits for good.

Bring the denture in early. A clean crack is one of the most repairable problems, often the same day in our on-site lab.

Often Same-Day Repair

Popped-Off Denture Tooth

A tooth that has come off the denture leaves an obvious gap and a sharp edge.

Keep the tooth and bring it with you. Reattaching a denture tooth is usually a quick same-day fix.

Often Same-Day Repair

Broken Clean in Half

A denture snapped fully in two often breaks along an old repair or a weak spot.

Bring every piece. We'll assess whether it can be rejoined to last, or whether a replacement is the smarter call.

Assessed Same Day

Loose or Slipping Denture

A denture that clicks, slips, or won't stay put usually means the fit has changed over time.

Often solved with a reline rather than a full replacement. Getting it looked at early keeps it from cracking or causing sores.

Reline, not Replace

Sore Spots & Rubbing

Raw spots, rubbing, or a denture that suddenly hurts to wear usually points to a fit that's off.

An adjustment or reline often fixes it. Our lab is on site, so many fit issues are handled the same visit.

Adjust & Reline

Broken Clasp on a Partial

A bent or snapped metal clasp lets a partial wobble and stops it gripping your natural teeth.

We assess whether the clasp can be repaired or the partial re-fitted so it holds securely again.

Repaired on Site

Worn-Out Denture

Flattened teeth, staining, or a base that keeps breaking often means the denture has simply run its course.

We'll tell you honestly when repairs aren't worth it and start a replacement through our lab.

Repair or Replace

Chipped Denture Tooth

A chipped or worn front tooth on a denture shows in every photo and catches on your lip.

Cosmetic chips can often be smoothed or the tooth rebuilt in the same visit at our on-site lab.

Often Same-Day Repair

Failed DIY Glue Repair

Super glue or drugstore kits rarely hold and can warp the fit so it never sits right again.

Don't keep re-gluing. Bring it in and we'll assess whether a proper repair is still possible.

Bring it in As-Is

New Denture Won't Fit

A recent or immediate denture that pinches, rocks, or won't seat often just needs adjusting in.

Early fit problems are normal and usually solved with an adjustment or reline, not a whole new denture.

Adjusted Same Day

Any Other Denture Problem

Not sure what's wrong with it? You don't need to know the fix to bring it in.

Why It Won't Wait

A Broken Denture Doesn't Fix Itself.

A hairline crack, a loose tooth, a fit that's slowly gone off. Small denture problems rarely stay small. Glue and tape buy you a day or two. They don't fix what actually broke, and they often make the real repair harder.

A same-day assessment tells you what's really wrong and what it'll take, so you're not stuck without your teeth until Monday.

Don't Wait

The Longer You Wear It Broken, the Worse It Gets.

A cracked denture flexes with every bite, and a loose one rubs your gums raw. Left alone, a quick repair can turn into sore spots, a full break, or a whole new denture.

That's exactly what we're built for: assessment, repairs, and a dental lab, all on site.

Denture Repair FAQ

What Patients Ask Us Most.

Can you fix a broken denture the same day?

Often, yes. Many cracks, snapped teeth, and clean breaks can be repaired the same day in our on-site lab. We start with an assessment to see exactly what broke. Some dentures can be repaired, and others are better replaced. Either way, you'll leave with a clear plan.

What kinds of denture problems do you handle?

A cracked or split denture base, a tooth that popped off the denture, a loose or ill-fitting denture, a broken clasp on a partial, or a denture that's worn out and no longer sits right. If it broke or stopped fitting, it's worth getting looked at.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Walk-ins are welcome during clinician hours. You can also book online or call ahead so we can have a room ready and, when possible, get the lab started the moment you arrive.

Should I try to glue my denture back together myself?

It's best not to. Household and store-bought glues can warp the fit, are hard to reverse, and often make a proper repair harder. Keep all the pieces, bring them in, and let us assess it. That gives you the best chance at a clean repair.

What happens if my denture can't be repaired?

Some dentures are too worn or broken to repair well. If that's the case, we'll tell you honestly and start a replacement through our lab, usually about a one-week turnaround, so you're not left guessing.

My denture doesn't hurt, it just won't stay in. Is that worth a visit?

Yes. A loose or slipping denture usually means the fit has changed and often needs a reline rather than a full replacement. Getting it assessed early is cheaper and easier than waiting until it cracks or causes sores.

What if I can't pay for treatment right now?

Cost shouldn't keep you stuck without a working denture. We offer 0% financing for all credit types, so you can get seen today and handle payment over time.
